Meteorite Pendant Lamp by Artemide. Meteorite originates from the pursuit of a new sensibility, a new expressive language for lighting in form of blown-glass. The starting point was a fascination with Venetian “beaten” glass, for the grinding effect and for the strong charm of an uneven surface that such a process brings to the glass. The specially designed glass-blowing and grinding process which is characterized by a double-layer artistic glass diffuser and a frosted-covered molding technique allow for obtaining an impressive lighting depth in the illuminated object while providing a cost-effective hand-blown glass option.
