Sarmiento Shelf by Danese. Danese has been at the forefront of Italian design, creating furniture and accessories from its Milan location. Its pieces are inspired by the visual arts and produced using environmentally-sound materials. Argentinian-born Francisco Gomez Paz studied industrial design in Argentina and Italy before opening his own studio in Milan. He also teaches at the Domus Academy. Among his design prizes are the Design Preis Schweiz and the Design Report Award.With its unobtrusive structure, the wall-hung Sarmiento Shelf complements any room setting, both domestic and public while its narrow shelves make it an innovative and space-saving storage solution. The shelves feature a 20-degree tilt which means that despite their narrow depth they can hold any size book. The shelf is made of robust easy-clean steel that has been powder coated and lacquered while the shelf boards are height-adjustable. The Sarmiento Shelf is 215cm high, 21.5cm deep and available in widths of 80cm and 110cm.
