Globo di Luce from Fontana Arte is a mettallised blown glass diffuser available in two sizes. The internal reflector is finished in anodized aluminum and available in mettalic silver, gold or red. Hardware and ceiling rose is finished in chrome plated metal with a transparent eclectic cable. Globo di Luce is Designed by Roberto Menghi, 1968
Fontana Arte was founded in 1932 by the architect Gio Ponti. In the early years Fontana Arte was knows for its advanced glass making and stained glass applications. Gio Ponti designed the first glass lighting and interior applications in collaboration with Pietro Chiesa. Today the Fontana Arte collection includes design by Max Ingrand, David Chipperfield, Vico Magistretti, Franco Raggi. Foster & Parnters, Charles Williams. The Fontana Arte Lighting collection includes such classics like Falena, Flute, A Max, Duplex, Sillaba, Fontana, Lampara, and 2198TA.
