E Pendant Lamp by Kartell Lamps. A lamp of simple and essential design, available in two versions, wall sconce and suspension lamp. The wall sconce is composed of a rosette lampshade in pleated polycarbonate available in several colours with an 11 cm chrome arm. The É suspension lamp consists of a pleated polycarbonate lampshade and a chrome rosette. The cable can be adjusted in height from 20 to 220 cm. E Pendant Lamp by Kartell Lamps is designed by Ferruccio Laviani.
Kartell was founded in Milan in 1949 by Giulio Castelli, a chemical engineer who believed that industrial plastics could produce objects of genuine aesthetic value. Over the following seven decades the company proved the point with a catalogue that spans furniture, storage and lighting - all unified by an uncompromising commitment to Italian manufacturing and to using plastic as a design material with its own integrity. The Bourgie table lamp by Ferruccio Laviani (2004) reinterpreted a Baroque candelabra in transparent polycarbonate - a joke that turned out to be genuinely beautiful and has been in continuous production for twenty years. The Battery portable lamp by Eugeni Quitllet brought Kartell's polycarbonate palette to cordless LED technology. Each lamp is manufactured at Kartell's factory in Noviglio, Milan.
