Zile Pendant Lamp by Luceplan.The special feature of this project lies in its close attention to sustainability. Luceplan has always been committed in its efforts to reduce the environmental impact not only of its production but also in the distribution of products. Zile is, in all respects, an eco-friendly light.The diffuser in made of a biodurable polymer with 80% of renewable sources.The Pendant light was designed by Archirivolto, an Italian studio which seeks to make beauty accessible. This is clearly seen in the Pendant lamp, as it features four gorgeous matt colour finishes which lend a natural yet elegant touch to any interior.
LucePlan Lighing was founded in 1978 by Paolo Rizzato, Riccardo Sarfatti and Sandra Severi, who had been together at the Politecnico University in Milan. Over the years LucePlan has created a collection of indoor and outdoor lights, that are not only functional but derived in a design evolution process rather then styling. The LucePlan collection includes classics like Berenice, Costanza, Metropoli, Mix, Fortebraccio, Miranda, Titania, Strip, Trama and Orchestra.
