La Roche Wall Lamp by Nemo Lightning. Born from an existing system to illuminate large windows, the first wall lamp conceived by Le Corbusier for his purist architectures: Villa La Roche and Pavillon de l’Esprit Nouveau. Matt grey metal, LED lighting source with a glass diffuser shaped on the original incandescent bulb. Nemo produced it, bringing it back to its original proportions, lightness and function, dimmable TRIAC. La Roche Wall Lamp by Nemo Lightning is designed by Le Corbusier
Nemo Lighting was established in Milan as a collaboration between the Cassina iXC group and a roster of international designers committed to producing lamps that treat light as a design medium rather than a utility. The Nemo collection draws on the Cassina heritage of design collaboration - working with architects and designers who approach a lamp brief with the same rigour they bring to a building or a furniture system. The Calder chandelier, the Untitled pendant and the Piani wall lamp each demonstrate this approach: resolved forms that work as hard optically as they do visually.
