Pivotante À Poser Table Lamp by Nemo lightning .Innovative design for the 50s but still a contemporary table lamp. The lighting output is adjusted by the opening or closure of the volets. Its cylindrical body opens on two sides on which two diffusers rotate allowing the opening and closing of the light beam to adjust the light in a direct or indirect way. Nemo Lighting was established in Milan as a collaboration between the Cassina iXC group and a roster of international designers committed to producing lamps that treat light as a design medium rather than a utility. The Nemo collection draws on the Cassina heritage of design collaboration - working with architects and designers who approach a lamp brief with the same rigour they bring to a building or a furniture system. The Calder chandelier, the Untitled pendant and the Piani wall lamp each demonstrate this approach: resolved forms that work as hard optically as they do visually.
