Projecteur 365 Floor Lamp by Nemo Lightning. The Projecteur of Le Corbusier was designed for the Chandigarh High Court, India, in 1954. Aluminium body painted in night blue, white sand or moka. Diffuser glass curved and sandblasted in the inner part. Painted body, base and canopies. Screws and small metal parts black chromed. Available in the floor, wall/ceiling and pendant versions. Nemo Lighting was established in Milan as a collaboration between the Cassina iXC group and a roster of international designers committed to producing lamps that treat light as a design medium rather than a utility. The Nemo collection draws on the Cassina heritage of design collaboration - working with architects and designers who approach a lamp brief with the same rigour they bring to a building or a furniture system. The Calder chandelier, the Untitled pendant and the Piani wall lamp each demonstrate this approach: resolved forms that work as hard optically as they do visually.
