Pallucco | Collapsible Moon
MODEL OPTIONS:
The big circular Lamp of Kazuhiro Yamanaka draws inspiration from his particular relationship with the moon. Collapsible Moon can be expanded and collapsed with a simple action, thanks to its photo reflector structure. The light emits from a Led strip, which is located inside the edge of the harmonic steel structure and spreads the light towards the center of the circle. As a result, the big surface of the complete circle illuminates itself like a full moon.
Pallucco was established in the 1970's in Rome. Historically the company has been driven by design, research and communication in both lighting and furniture. One of Pallucco icons designed by Mariano Fortuny in 1907 is celebrating its one hundred years. Today Pallucco has collaborated with designers like Enrico Franzolini, Hannes Wettstein, Susanne Philippson. The Pallucco collection includes classics like Gilda, Glow, Coral, Faro, Fortuny, Optical, Paprio, Acquarius and Guardian.
