Egg Pendant Lamp by Pallucco. A design which brings back an ancient craft technique, the glass blowing in a cage, to create a luminous, amber and organic object like a cocoon standing or suspended in the room. The blowing gives the glass slight irregularities in the shape and tiny bubbles of air which appear to float in the material, making every single creation unique. The exposed metal structure, with its graphics play, gives this lamp a strong personality even when switched off. A family of lamps composed of a pendant and a table version. Structure: dark grey finished metallic cage. Blown glass in the cage, in the colors: topaz, white, grey. One dimmable Master LED MV 18Watt light bulb, warm light 2700°K, E27 socket, duration 25.000hr, 1521 Lumen. For 110V version, a dimmable A-Shape Led 20Watt, E26 socket, duration 25.000hr, 1621 Lumen. Pallucco was established in the 1970's in Rome. Historically the company has been driven by design, research and communication in both lighting and furniture. One of Pallucco icons designed by Mariano Fortuny in 1907 is celebrating its one hundred years. Today Pallucco has collaborated with designers like Enrico Franzolini, Hannes Wettstein, Susanne Philippson.
