Max Bill Pendant Lamp by Santa & Cole. An exponent of an era when industrial design was just becoming a discipline in Spain, this lamp is named after Swiss designer and artist Max Bill, a distinguished member of the jury that awarded him the Gold Delta Award in 1964, the highest of the Barcelona ADI-FAD awards. Fifty years on, Santa & Cole is re-publishing it in an LED version adapted to fit the HEADLED capsule, which affords greater efficiency and light quality. MAX BILL is available in five finishes: white, black, brass, polished aluminium and opal white and is further proof of the relevance and timelessness of Miguel Milá’s designs. Max Bill Pendant Lamp by Santa & Cole are designed by Miguel Milá.
Santa & Cole was founded in Barcelona Spain in 1985, when Javier Nieto Santa, Gabriel Ordeig Cole, and Nina Masó founded it 23 years ago. Santa Cole has been designing industrial objects in order to seek a better user-experience for these products.
In 1992 Santa & Cole was engaged in helping design and manufacturer the urban improvements for the Olympic games. Since then Santa & Cole has grown into a full service industrial design firm which includes Urban Design and Planning, Public Lighting, Outdoor Furniture, Forestry and Book Publishing. The lighting collection of Santa & Cole includes collaboration with Miguel Mila, Arne Jacobson and Antoni Arola.
