Netlight Illuminated Planter by Serralunga. Netlight is a versatile creation, for garden design. Designed by Fabio Bortolani and Ermanno Righi, it fits into the outdoor patio furniture sector. Netlight has one soul divided into two parts: a luminous vase on top and a steel net structure, painted red, below. In this collection of garden planters, the two souls blend together. Climbing plants, hanging from the illuminated pots, which are supported and can be positioned at various heights in the structure, can cling to the netting, making a natural, unique, totemic element. PE (linear polyethylene) achieved by rotational moulding. UV protection. 100% recyclable, solution dyed. High degree of mechanical strength and resistance to impacts. Steel net powder coated for outdoor, colour red. Netlight Illuminated Planter by Serralunga are designed by Bortolani & Righi.
Serralunga was founded in Biella, northern Italy in 1994 with a focus on developing large-scale outdoor objects using rotational moulding technology. The rotomoulding process - in which polyethylene powder is heated and rotated inside a mould to produce a seamless, double-walled vessel - allows Serralunga to produce planters and furniture of a scale and structural integrity that injection moulding cannot achieve. UV-stable, frost-resistant and available in illuminated formats with integrated LED lighting, Serralunga's planters and outdoor furniture are used in hotel terraces, restaurant exteriors, public plazas and residential gardens worldwide. Designers Stefano Giovannoni, Roberto Paoli and Christophe Pillet have each contributed to a collection that now spans over 100 planter designs and a full outdoor furniture range.
