Outdoor Illuminated New Pot High with Light by Serralunga. A pot with a traditional truncated conical shape - almost an archetype of its own shape - that responds in a simple way to an old demand, interpreted in a new, sophisticated way. This is the idea behind New-pot, designed by Paolo Rizzato, to combine functional perfection with aesthetic sophistication. New-pot is available in several sizes. The High and Maxi versions are also available with internal lighting. New Pot High Outdoor with Light by Serralunga are designed by Paolo Rizzatto.
Serralunga was founded in Biella, northern Italy in 1994 with a focus on developing large-scale outdoor objects using rotational moulding technology. The rotomoulding process - in which polyethylene powder is heated and rotated inside a mould to produce a seamless, double-walled vessel - allows Serralunga to produce planters and furniture of a scale and structural integrity that injection moulding cannot achieve. UV-stable, frost-resistant and available in illuminated formats with integrated LED lighting, Serralunga's planters and outdoor furniture are used in hotel terraces, restaurant exteriors, public plazas and residential gardens worldwide. Designers Stefano Giovannoni, Roberto Paoli and Christophe Pillet have each contributed to a collection that now spans over 100 planter designs and a full outdoor furniture range.
