Scarlett Planters Pot by Serralunga. Curvy presence outdoor and indoor where the pleated effect of the surface makes the item softer and more “dressed-up”. This pot is also available in a version fitted with a light and dimmer switch for indoor areas so that you always have the desired amount of light. The pot is made from linear low-density polyethylene achieved by rotational moulding. UV protection, 100% recyclable, spun-dyed. High degree of mechanical strength and resistance to impacts. Scarlett Planters Pot by Serralunga is designed by Christophe Pillet.
Serralunga was founded in Biella, northern Italy in 1994 with a focus on developing large-scale outdoor objects using rotational moulding technology. The rotomoulding process - in which polyethylene powder is heated and rotated inside a mould to produce a seamless, double-walled vessel - allows Serralunga to produce planters and furniture of a scale and structural integrity that injection moulding cannot achieve. UV-stable, frost-resistant and available in illuminated formats with integrated LED lighting, Serralunga's planters and outdoor furniture are used in hotel terraces, restaurant exteriors, public plazas and residential gardens worldwide. Designers Stefano Giovannoni, Roberto Paoli and Christophe Pillet have each contributed to a collection that now spans over 100 planter designs and a full outdoor furniture range.
