Tubini Outdoor Pot by Serralunga. A combination of primary shapes inspired by geometric figures and basic industrial archetypes. As if it was covered in sand, the surface of these pots is perfectly aligned with the philosophy that pertains to Serralunga 1825 and that gives emphasis to the expression of the materials. (Linear low-density polyethylene), through-coloured made by a rotational moulding process. UV rays protection. 100% recyclable. High mechanical resistance, made in great collision-proof plastic. Tubini Outdoor Pot by Serralunga is designed by Nat Wave.
Serralunga was founded in Biella, northern Italy in 1994 with a focus on developing large-scale outdoor objects using rotational moulding technology. The rotomoulding process - in which polyethylene powder is heated and rotated inside a mould to produce a seamless, double-walled vessel - allows Serralunga to produce planters and furniture of a scale and structural integrity that injection moulding cannot achieve. UV-stable, frost-resistant and available in illuminated formats with integrated LED lighting, Serralunga's planters and outdoor furniture are used in hotel terraces, restaurant exteriors, public plazas and residential gardens worldwide. Designers Stefano Giovannoni, Roberto Paoli and Christophe Pillet have each contributed to a collection that now spans over 100 planter designs and a full outdoor furniture range.
